This immersion will explore the relationship between our habitual mind and our expanded consciousness. Wouldn’t it be life-changing if we could recognize our negative mental tendencies and transform them into clarity, beauty, and joy?
Even with extensive exploration of Enneagram type and identifying our habitual thoughts, feelings and reactions, we are still limited by our conditioned mind. Through the study of the Holy Ideas, we can release our attachment to engrained mental patterns and open to the beautiful miracle of our existence.
The Holy Ideas help us connect the Enneagram teachings with the mystical strivings of our religious and spiritual traditions.
There are very few teachers in the world today that have sufficient mastery to teach the Holy Ideas – a complex and often misunderstood aspect of the Enneagram. Russ Hudson is one of those few!

While the Holy Ideas are a core component of the original Enneagram teachings, they are rarely taught. With so much emphasis on personality typing, some of the more essential and developmental aspects of the teachings get overlooked. It is certainly useful to study the fixated patterns of our personality, but it is also helpful to gain some sense of what we are beyond those patterns. At first, these teachings can seem daunting, but as we work with them, we discover that we have already experienced many of these states. In this way, the Holy Ideas become more accessible, even as they guide us into new understandings of ourselves. They help us recognize what the world really is and what we are beyond our usual concepts and beliefs. As such, they are an enormous support for our awakening and our capacity to take our place in this world.

The Holy Ideas: The Enneagram & Non-Duality Immersion Schedule

Each weekend, we will explore the particular perspective of the Holy Idea of that point, looking at how it appears in our lives, and learning ways to integrate it more powerfully. Beyond being profound experiences of reality, the Holy Ideas can also liberate us from the mental fixation of our Enneagram type.

What is your refund policy?
Your satisfaction is our highest priority! The deadline to receive a refund is midnight, Eastern Standard Time, February 6 (following the first weekend with Russ). To request a refund, please please email us at support@russhudson.com. Your refund will be processed within five business days and we will send you an email confirmation when your refund has been completed. What happens if I have to miss a session?
While we hope all students will be able to attend the weekends with Russ to get the full benefit of the program (live Q&A, breakout exercises, etc), our programs are recorded allowing students to review the teachings in their their time. We also provide a way that students can submit a question for Q&A, so even if you’re unable to join us on Zoom, there’s still a good chance your question will be answered.
Do I have to participate in the breakout sessions during the weekends with Russ?
We strongly recommend students set themselves up to participate in breakout exercises, which support learning and embodiment of the teachings. Breakout exercises are a key component of the inner-work journey and a vital part of all of Russ’ in-person and virtual teachings.
What are Essence Circles and are they required?
Essence Circles are small groups of students who meet with a facilitator once a month virtually to integrate the teachings. The focus is on experiential practice, inquiry, breakout group exercises and discussions to support learning and embodiment of Russ’ teachings. While not required for this program, they are strongly recommended in order to get the most out of the program and deepen the inner-work journey.

About Russ
One of the world’s top teachers and developers of the Enneagram personality typology, Russ Hudson has co-authored five best-selling books including the renowned The Wisdom of the Enneagram, and Personality Types. The Sounds True audiobook Nine Gateways to Presence is the most recent work.
In addition to 40 years of publishing, interviews, teaching, and research, Russ developed a scientifically validated test instrument. The Riso-Hudson Type Indicator (RHETI) is the leading standard test in the Enneagram field. Russ is co-founder of the Enneagram Institute and President Emeritus, as well as a Founding Director and former Vice-President of the International Enneagram Association.
