One of the most interesting things about the Enneagram is the way that it looks at things triadically–in groups of three. Some of the triads are well- known, such as the triads connected with the three centers: instinctual, feeling, and thinking. Another potent triad called the Harmonic groups is actually one of the most interesting and helpful. Join me as I explain and explore the Harmonics groups which help us understand how we navigate conflicts and challenges.
In this session, you will learn how to understand your own style of conflict management as well as that of loved ones, friends, and coworkers. Over the course of two hours, I will illuminate the three main styles of conflict resolution, which enneagram point relates to each style, and how to use this information to integrate each style into your own approach.
After this class, you will be able to immediately:
- Discern your own conflict style
- Recognize the conflict style of the people in your life
- Defuse a situation using the knowledge of the different stages of a conflict
- Prevent escalation and be better at achieving a quick resolution
- Use knowledge of conflict styles to evoke in other’s willingness to resolve conflict
Understanding this aspect of the Enneagram helps us locate key conflicts and come to satisfying resolutions. In a world that is riddled with conflict, this aspect of the Enneagram is deeply needed for the healing of ourselves and the broader world in which we live.
